Scale of Imports by Temu and Shein Revealed

Since the start of 2024 Evri has delivered 70 million parcels from Shein and 30 million parcels from Temu. Similar volumes will be coming in via Royal Mail. To put that in perspective the population of the UK is only 68 million. That equates to more than two parcels for every person in the UK. Other than the income for the carrier this adds nothing to the UK economy. All profits are made in China and every item manufactured and sold from China represents an item not manufactured or sold in the UK.
